We are super excited to share our 2017 goals with you including more volunteer opportunities for our members.
- Continue and expand our partnership and volunteer opportunities with YouthLink.
- Spring: Day Project (sorting clothes, packing backpacks)
- Anytime: Lunch Meal Services (up to 5 volunteers to shop, prep food, and serve meals)
- July: Clothing/Personal Hygiene Drive
- November: Thanksgiving Meal Service
- December: Gift Card Donation Drive
- Explore new opportunities (Teams/fundraising for their annual Night of Hope event on 9/24 and interships)
- Participate in four school career fairs to promote CRE industry careers.
- Host two friendly volunteer competitions at a food packing location in the spring and summer.
- Partner with other industry organizations such as Diversity Collaborative to make a larger impact including a $500 donation to the annual Student Scholarship.
As we head into Spring, watch out for more details on upcoming events and new ways to get involved in our community outreach events. This is a great way to get involved not only in the CoreNet Midwest Chapter, but our community as well!
